Hello, everyone! I'm in a brand new art show in Washington, D.C. Located at BloomBars in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, this group exhibition, called "ImPrint," offers a wide variety of artworks, from feminist collages to Barbie doll paintings to my own works, which include five paintings from my Hypnotic Stupid Cats series and "Don't," an interactive piece previously showcased at the Congress Heights Arts & Culture Center.
It's a great honor to be included in this exhibition for many reasons. First and foremost, BloomBars has been voted the best arts and culture non-profit in the city for five years running. Additionally, this exhibition is part of an arts publication series, called Bourgeon, produced by the non-profit Day Eight. With this, I had the opportunity to have an article published in Bourgeon, found here, which discusses my current and future projects.
For now, be sure to see my works at Bloombars, located at 3222 11th Street NW in Washington, D.C. The exhibition runs through May 5, 2018.
